Description
This is a COPY of a vintage pattern for a darling “Scottie” from the 1940s. It has been digitally scanned and reformatted for easier reading. The pattern was designed by Alice Brooks and sold in American Weekly magazine after FDR made Scotties popular in America. The American Weekly was published from 1896 until 1963. The dog measures approximately 9” up to his shoulder and 17” from his nose to the tip of his tail. This is close to size of a real Scottie. It's pictured in a plaid cotton fabric but sateen, velvet, terry cloth or a furry material would also be suitable. A vinyl could make an “autograph” Scottie. Makes a great gift for all ages but be sure to keep one for yourself. This is a REPRODUCTION of my original vintage pattern. Includes all instructions and full-size pattern pieces. Pieces that are too large for the copy paper include easy connection instructions. We always combine shipping cost when you buy more than one item.
